I went nuts buying art supplies, including my first full set of copics.  They are as amazing as everyone says, and while expensive, they are pretty well worth it.  I've uploaded some new sketch cards with the copic colors on them, and I think I'm getting better with practice and as I bet higher quality mediums. I'm actually happy with some of them, that almost never happens for me. :)

Ok, just got my first set of "artist" grade markers.  I couldn't afford the uber Copics just yet, so I'm giving my first foray into this media a try with a set of Chartpaks http://www.jerrysartarama.com/discount-art-supplies/pens-and-markers/chartpak-ad-markers-and-sets/chartpak-ad-marker-sets.htm.  What inspired this sudden motivation to do art (besides my long hiatus due to laziness) is this surge of popularity for PSC's (Personal Sketch Cards).  So, I'm going to be doing some experimentation with both, and posted my first attempt today in my gallery. I know I don't update this enough (or at all) or draw as much as I should, but now that I'm *hopefully* over my 4 month long bout of back to back crappy sicknesses I'll be able to do more.  My husband has also been drawing more lately and I'm going to try my hand at coloring his work.  Whee!
